After sign in, this is the landing place of Windows 11 Desktop, seems interface looks quite different compare to previous versions. The Taskbar icons are now centered and similar to MacOS, but the start button is still to the left of the other app icons.
In Windows 11, you get wide taskbar buttons for running apps that contrast with narrow icons for pinned apps. The centered looks pretty good, since it doesn't require you to move the mouse cursor across a full screen to launch an app from the Start Menu.
Windows 11 has finally brought a modern context menu slightly rounded corners. It gels well with the overall Windows 11 aesthetics. You really like the new UI (User Interface) and the new Mica effect used for Windows UI elements is great. Besides that, you will find rounded corners everywhere that really gives nice experience.
Windows Redesigned settings
In Windows 11, Microsoft completely revamped the settings app and built from scratch, following a mobile-driven design that plays well with both desktops and tablets.
The settings page has been neatly categorized with menus and sub-menus, along with a static menu pane at the left. It saves you from having to back out of nested settings to quickly get to another group. Otherwise, you get most everything found in Windows 10's Settings. You also have breadcrumbs for easy navigation and expandable settings options for improved clarity.
Windows 11 provides some stunning themes similar to smartphones to customizing the overall look of the Windows operating system.
Feature 2.
Windows Multiple Desktops
In Windows 11, you can create multiple desktops and set a different background color or image for each virtual desktop you have. Which makes a lot of sense if you have one desktop for work and another for personal use. To create a new desktop, activate Task View and click New desktop at the bottom of the screen. To switch between desktops, click the Task View icon and click the desktop to which you want to switch. You can keep creating new desktops this way and switch among them.
Feature 3.
Windows Widgets
With Windows 11, Microsoft has brought Widgets, where you can find all kinds of information with just a click. You can check out the latest news, your personal photos pulled from One Drive, Sports, Scores, Stock Prices and much more. The widget section can be customized and you can personalize it as per your interest. For tablets running Windows 11, the Widget window fills the whole screen, making it a one-stop dashboard for all your personal interests. This feature can be disabled in a few clicks on settings page.
Feature 4.
Windows Snap Layouts
Windows 11, introduced Snap Layout option that can be obtained when you hover your mouse pointer over a window’s maximize button. You will find various layouts for how you want to position the window. You can also invoke the snap layout option with the "Win + Z" Windows keyboard shortcut. If you use a large monitor, this will help maximize your productivity.
Snap Layouts let you choose from a selection of window layouts, easily populating them with app windows of your choice. Maybe even more important than the extra layout choices is that these layouts are saved and accessible from the app taskbar icons so you don’t have to re-create them after doing something else on the PC.
Overall, both Multiple Desktops and Snap Layout features are quality additions to Windows 11 and elevate the multitasking experience.
Feature 5.
